Things to see and do

The biggest draw for visitors to Oludeniz is it’s famous blue lagoon beach. This protected national park, backed by soaring mountains, is a stunning white sandy beach with excellent facilities and a choice of cafes. Paddleboards and boats are available to hire, and the sparkling turquoise waters attract divers looking to see reefs filled with sea life and underwater caverns.

Take in the breathtaking scenery from land with a horseback riding tour off the beaten track, through forests, to ancient ruins. Back in town, rummage through the bargains on offer at the market on Carsi Caddesi, where clothes, tablecloths and more are on sale.

Top attractions

One of the biggest attractions in Oludeniz, aside from the lagoon, is the chance to paraglide off the Babadag Mountain; the views over the valley are priceless. Down below, take a boat trip, or hire a boat, and explore the Blue Cave, the coast surrounding Butterfly Valley and the waterfall.

Discover ancient Turkey with an excursion to Ephesus (near Selçuk) home to the ruins of the Temple of Artemis; one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Another fun excursion is a trip to nearby Pamukkale which features a series of cascading thermal pools (one of Turkey’s most popular attractions). After all, that sightseeing, cool off and take the kids to the fantastic Oludeniz Aquapark water park, for some family fun.

Best restaurants

Traditional Turkish cuisine is some of the best in the world, and it doesn’t get any better than the authentic dishes served at İnci Restaurant. With a set menu, daily specials and lighter lunches, as well as international choices, it’s a must-try during your stay in Oludeniz.

For tasty breakfasts, try Oba Motel Restaurant, which does both English and Turkish options, including local yoghurt, honey and homemade muesli. Finally, for a relaxed meal out, Cloud 9 is a popular place to get a drink and enjoy a pizza, burger or some seafood.

Types of HolidayTaxis transfer vehicles
March 31, 2023

At HolidayTaxis, we recognize that every traveler is different and may have their own preferences and requirements for their airport transfers. To accommodate this, we offer a diverse range of transfer vehicles for our customers to choose from, each with its own set of benefits and advantages.

For example, if you're traveling in a large group, our minibus or shared airport shuttle transfers might be the best option for you, as they can comfortably accommodate a larger number of passengers and their luggage. On the other hand, if you're traveling with just one or two companions, a private car may be more suitable for you as they offer a more intimate and personalised experience.
