Things to do

Agadir is an exciting holiday destination that offers culture, beaches, outdoor adventures and relaxation. It’s one of Morocco’s best beaches, offering a long strip of golden sand over nine kilometres long, with Blue Flag status. It may not offer the exciting conditions for surfing that can be found further north on Morocco’s coast, but the clear waters and pristine conditions are perfect for families, swimmers and sun lovers.

Agadir is a modern city, as most of it was rebuilt back in the 60s, meaning there are lots of facilities for families looking for a great beach holiday resort. It’s not lost its old charm, however, as the city still has lots of colourful bazaars and spice shops, souks and minarets. If you’re looking for some souvenirs, or just want to experience the markets, try Agadir’s Souk El Had. One of the best ways to relax while getting a real experience of Morocco is at a hammam. Here you can expect to be properly pampered, with treatments and massages to choose from.

Top attractions

Agadir is well located for sightseeing, whether it’s historical city sights or nearby natural wonders. Discover the open-air recreation of Agadir’s former medina (or walled city), the La Médina d’Agadir, a part-museum part work of architectural art. Or hike to the Kasbah on the hill and enjoy the splendid views of the city. For a daytrip, head to the walled city of Taroudant, discover the bird reserve of Massa Lagoon or spot the Nile crocodiles at the conservation project Crocoparc.

Best restaurants

Agadir has lots of excellent restaurants to choose from, with everything from Moroccan to Asian cuisine on offer. Eat At Les Blancs is a popular Spanish restaurant with some vegetarian options and lots of fresh seafood dishes. La Madrague is contemporary restaurant the specialises in fish and seafood dishes, with fantastic views of the marina. Or, for the very best in local food, head to Le P’tit Dome for a delicious tagine or some couscous.

At HolidayTaxis, we recognize that every traveler is different and may have their own preferences and requirements for their airport transfers. To accommodate this, we offer a diverse range of transfer vehicles for our customers to choose from, each with its own set of benefits and advantages.

For example, if you're traveling in a large group, our minibus or shared airport shuttle transfers might be the best option for you, as they can comfortably accommodate a larger number of passengers and their luggage. On the other hand, if you're traveling with just one or two companions, a private car may be more suitable for you as they offer a more intimate and personalised experience.
