Many of the beaches have been awarded Blue Flag status due to their clean sand and water. Some are famous for their beach parties and prestigious visitors, such as Nikki Beach. The other beloved beaches of Marbella include Playa de Alicate, Cabopino Beach, Playa Fontanilla and Playa Nagüeles.

While the small shops may close during the afternoon heat, there are plenty of larger shops, as well as supermarkets and department stores, available. The best street for shopping in Marbella is Avenida Ricardo Soriano, which runs through the centre of the town parallel to the beach.

Eating out

Marbella has some top restaurants to choose from for fine dining. Paco Jiménez (named after its owner and head chef) and La Meridiana, which specialises in delicious Mediterranean dishes, are both popular options. Or you can treat your taste buds to a meal at Skina which is a Michelin-starred restaurant with an Andalusian inspired menu and fresh seasonal produce.

When to go to Marbella?

The best time to go to Marbella is during the spring when the weather is warm without being too hot or overbearing. However, if you plan to spend a lot of time in the sea then a visit during the summer, when temperatures reach 30°C, makes swimming very refreshing!

For example, if you're traveling in a large group, our minibus or shared airport shuttle transfers might be the best option for you, as they can comfortably accommodate a larger number of passengers and their luggage.
